Virginia Dare Jarman Taylor, 83, passed away Feb. 18 , 2018 at Premier Nursing Home in Jacksonville. She was born in Jones County on Sept. 12, 1934 and worked for more than 25 years for Maysville Garment and Swansboro Garment before her retirement. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Maysville. A graveside service will be held Friday Feb 23rd at 11:00A.M. at the Dogwood Memorial Cemetery in Maysville with the Rev. Jody Yopp officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Sayland Funeral Home in Maysville and at other times at the home of Christopher and Freida Taylor. She was predeceased by her parents, Iona and Arthur Jarman; husband, Robert Taylor; daughter, Sara Watson; sisters, Gladys Pierce, Mary Jarman and Brenda Humphrey; brother, Arthur Jarman; grandson ,Roger Watson and great grandson, Zachary Bourgeois. Surviving are her children, Jackie Bourgeois of Maysville; Wanda Matthews(Verl) of Jacksonville and Christopher Taylor(Freida) of Maysville; grandchildren; Crystal Watson, Adrienne Bourgeois, Jennifer Manning, Matthew Bourgeois, Amanda Matthews, Cherrayne Saunders, Tanner Taylor and Rayshal Taylor; great grandchildren; Ashley Neal, Isiah Saunders, Abigail Saunders, Zoe West, Jackson Matthews, Jordan Saunders, Laci Taylor, Alley Taylor, and Taylor Matthews; sisters, Frances Campbell of Hubert; Tiny Sims of Maysville and Alice Banks of Richlands and brother, Joe Jarman of Maysville.
