      Aaron H. Trott, 87, passed away at his home March 27, 2020. He was born in Carteret County on Oct 21, 1932 to Ernest and Elizabeth Godwin Trott.  Aaron was a Navy veteran of the Korea War. He was the former office manager of Jacksonville Building Supply, retiring after 44 Years. He was a member of the Grants Creek Baptist Church for 58 years where he was a deacon. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Marie Collins Trott.

     A private burial service will be held with a memorial service at a later date.

     He is survived by his daughter, Karla Holcombe of Maysville; his sons; Mike Trott and his wife Karla “Brownie” of Manteo and Luther Trott and his wife Bonnie of Maysville; his sister; Wilma Littleton of Stella; sisters in law Brenda Smith and her husband, Charles Duffy Smith, Jr.; Gloria Collins and Lucy Banks and seven grandchildren; Brandon Trott, Katy Fedchenko, Kayleigh Trott, Jake Holcombe, Cody Trott, Kourtney Trott, and Ryan Peele and 12 great grandchildren.
