Elsie Hewett Allinson,85, passed away at her home on Sept. 29, 2022. Before her retirement she was a registered nurse at Onslow Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Minnie Mallard Hewett and her husband, Kenneth Allinson.

The family will celebrate her life privately. Surviving are her daughters, Marilyn Richard and companion, Pat Mullins and Connie Allinson of Maysville; her son, Gregg Allinson of Grimesland; her sisters, Doris Cook of Hampstead and Evelyn Groff of San Antonio, TX; her granddaughters, Jennifer Diaz and her husband Keith and Jessie Richeson and her great grandchildren; Noah, Conner and Cordelia.
