Jimmy Jones Riggs, 76, passed away Dec. 13th at his home. Jimmy was a retired police officer with the NC State Port Authority in Morehead City. He was a member of the Peletier First Missionary Baptist Church and the Sons of Confederate Veterans. He was preceded in death by his parents James C. and Margaret Jones Riggs.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday Dec. 17th at the Peletier First Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be private in the church cemetery. Arrangements by Sayland Funeral Home in Maysville.
