Michael McLain Obituary

Michael Bill McLain, 71, passed away Nov.4, 2022 at Carteret Health Care; four days after his wife; Pamela Rogers McLain. He was a retired Marine Gunnery Sergeant and a member of the Swansboro VFW, Swansboro Moose Lodge and the Onslow County Ham Radio Club where he was the assistant Aris coordinator.

He is survived sons; Adam McLain of Cape Carteret; Michael McLain of IN; Leonard Eugene Mathiews and his wife Connie of Newport; Floyd Eugene Moody III and his wife, Rebecca of Stella; his daughters, Robin Wayne of Jacksonville; Laura Tex and Michelle McLain of IN; his brothers, James McLain of SC and Christopher McLain of Fl; his sisters, Amy Weber, M’Lissa Morgan and Janis Ward all of Fl; 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

The family will celebrate his life privately. Arrangements entrusted to Sayland Funeral Home in Maysville.
