Robert Earl Holmes,71, died at his home Jan.30th. Robert was a Peletier native and former owner of Discount Awnings in Cedar Point.Funeral services will be held Monday Feb.4th at 6:00PM in the Chapel of the Sayland Funeral Home in Maysville. Visitation will follow the service. Burial will be private. He was preceded in death by his son, William Turner Holmes II. Surviving are his sons, Matthew Michael Holmes and his wife Jennifer of Hubert and Robert Edward Holmes and his wife Fazilah of Malaysia; and his sisters, Alice Dunn of Peletier and Nellie Thalmann and her husband Charles of New Bern ; grandchildren, William Turner Holmes III and his wife Morgan; Taylor Holmes; Arbel Raleigh Holmes and Robin Holmes .
