Willard Ray Melville, 76, died Tuesday Oct. 10, 2017 at Premier Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was a retired custodian with Camp LeJeune School System and a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church. Willard loved his family dearly and when he wasn’t working he was probably fishing.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday at the Sayland Funeral Home in Maysville with the Rev. Bryan Lassiter and Rev. Greg Dickerson officiating. Burial will be in the Dogwood Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday Oct. 12th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

                                Surviving are his wife, Wanda Evans Melville;his son, Wendell Robert Melville and wife, Ashley  of Jacksonville;his daughter, Wendy Alexander and husband Andy of Maysville;his brother, Gary Melville and wife, Betty of Stella;his sisters, Alyce Collins and Gwen Dickerson and husband Glenn of Maysville and his grandchildren Jake Whetsell, Brittany Melville Bay and Lauryn Alexander.
